The Centre is self-funding. The program and fees are designed to cover all operational costs so the Centre can be viable in the long-term. Practical help and donations make sure we can keep improving the facilities and activities.

Donations and Planned Giving
One-off donations make such a difference! Regular ongoing donations do too. Even small amounts help to underpin the weekly work and offerings of the Centre.
A Living Bequest
If you would like to see the results of your gift within your lifetime, we are ready to talk with you about the aspect to which you would like your gift devoted.
A Bequest in your Will
A bequest in your will can underpin the long-term viability of the Centre. We appreciate untied bequests, as well as gifts with a particular purpose in mind.

Come & Work – and stay your own room
Silver Wattle is a place for prayer, study and reflection, and work. We are a living community and our practice relies on all staff and visitors giving their help with running the Centre.
In return we offer reduced rates for board and accommodation depending on the numbers of hours worked each day. The minimum cost to stay is $22/night. Full board (ie all meals) can be offered in return for 3 hours work per day. Surely that’s a really good deal! Please discuss your ideas and skills with the Director.
Development Plan
The Silver Wattle Information and Plan summarises the vision and planned developments.
A fully costed and scheduled Development Plan is to be considered by the Board in mid 2011. We are keen to hear what you think!
